Deep Forest

Two months ago, Laetitia and I spent a wonderful day at the Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay, in Québec. The best time to go there is between June and August although temperatures are usually very high at this time of the year. The Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay is an area full of fascinating history. In fact, aboriginals had inhabited the Saguenay Fjord region for thousands of years prior to the first Europeans arriving.

The whole place is also remarkably stunning. We spent an afternoon hiking a way up the mountain. The trail was extremely well kept and the view was literally amazing. The park offers all types of hiking trails for all levels and it is easy to admire the different breathtaking lookouts which made the trip worth it. Also, we were lucky enough to encounter wild species: North American red squirrels, garter snakes and a lot of birds. Well, we would definitely go back to the Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay anytime!
